We love to see members visiting other members! Recently Kevin Cordell and Jim Hicks from Hardy Services spent a couple of days at Yale Mechanical going over Spectrum software and service field technology. 

Unified Group: What prompted Hardy to visit Yale Mechanical?
Kevin Cordell:
We had selected new accounting software, Dexter + Chaney, before we joined the Unified Group. We are in the implementation process and wanted to talk to other members who used the product to see how they were utilizing it.

Unified Group: What was the best part of the visit?
Kevin Cordell: The best part about the visit was seeing how a company in the same industry runs their day to day business. Yale is very organized and is clearly taking advantage of the software features. It was great to see how a business was actually using the software instead of just hearing a sales rep tell you what it could do.

Unified Group: What would you say to other members thinking about visiting another member? Time well-spent?
Kevin Cordell: Do it! This was absolutely time well spent. It’s good to see that other companies face the same challenges and have many of the same issues. It’s also great to see how they do things differently which can help spark ideas for change within your own company. We are very grateful to Yale for taking time out of their schedules to answer our questions and show us how they do things.
